Hounslow Wolves XI v Inter SFC
28th September 2021
Hounslow Wolves XI 2-3 Inter SFC
Inter were out of the blocks a lot quicker than Wolves and were rewarded with a goal early on to take the lead, after some good build up play to a neat & tidy finish.
Things didn’t improve for the home team as inter doubled their lead with a quick 1-2 and the ball ending up in the back of the net. It was a half the home team would like to forget as chances for them were very limited.
At half time manager Deano made some changes. He took off Jat Birdi (pulled groin) to replace him with Harmeet Dhaliwal in as a centre half and brought on Perdeep Bhullar who’s energy had an almost immediate impact with a chance going begging for Nikhil Vadhera.
The home team were starting to grow into the game and built pressure which resulted in them getting one back with Nikhil Vadhera scoring from close range.
Wolves had started to build momentum and with that had another chance from a corner which unfortunately Amar Sohail headed just over the bar.
Just as the home team had got going they were hit with a sucker punch with a counter attack from inter to make it 3-1.
The home got another 1 back to make it 3-2 with a neat finish from Ish Abreu. The home team had the chance to equalise with the last kick of the game but Perdeep Bhullar scuffed his lines hitting it over the bar.
Overall a tough game for XI’s but plenty of positives to take for the coming season.
